This product’s intended use is for the qualification of a vehicle or container that is to be fitted with either a Teargas - or a CBRN Filtration Unit and which operates on a overpressure system. The main function of the Overpressure Trolley is to create sufficient airflow and pressure inside the Unit under Testing.

Sufficient sealing of the vehicle or container is the responsibility of the OEM. The bolt-on integrated of the CBRN and Teargas Filtration units requires the container or vehicle to be sealed sufficiently to reach an overpressure of at least 200-800 Pa. This process of sufficient sealing is an iterative process that must be done during the manufacturing process, to ensure hard to reach places are sealed which cannot be reached after completed manufacturing.

Therefore, this unit can be used by these manufactures or OEMs to help test and qualify their vehicles or containers during the manufacturing process to ensure the right level of sealing is obtained by creating overpressure.

This Overpressure Trolley can be used in combination with any local commercially available smoke generating machine which will enable the operator to visually identify any possible leaks from the outside of the unit under test.

Pressure relieve valves are calibrated to open at internal pressures of 200 Pa. Consequently, Equipment Under Testing must seal to between 200-800Pa to allow for seal degradation of doors, windows, etc. over the unit’s lifetime.
