What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Unless utilising our contact forms, we collect none of your personal data beyond anonymous analytics/traffic data for our own use.

By default our website and the WordPress platform does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. However some of the third-party plugins may collect personal data.

Contact forms

When using our contact forms, please be advised that the information you provide is captured, and is only to be used for further direct communication. None of your information will be made public, or sold to any third-parties under any circumstances.

Cookies

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we may also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices.

Data we keep is stored indefinitely. For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information provided in the user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except changing username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Forms may be checked through an automated spam detection service, with your data stored on a MailChimp database. Backups of the databases may be made and stored locally.

How we protect your data

Our forms and subscriptions are powered by MailChimp and utilise a double opt-in system. More information about how MailChimp keeps data safe can be found here.

Our security systems have procedures in place that allow for monitoring, reporting, lock-outs and hack prevention and brute-force protection.

What third parties we receive data from

We do not receive any data from third-parties.
