The Water Chiller Add-On Module is a low temperature evaporator coil/tank assembly which is connected to the vehicle air conditioning refrigerant circuit. This fresh water tank could typically hold 20 - 80 litres of fresh clean water. The coiled stainless steel evaporator is flange mounted and submerged in the lower section of the tank.

A realistic cooling capacity would be 2 - 4kW to cool water from 30°C to 10°C in 30 minutes or less. The unit cooling is regulated by its own thermostat and solenoid valve. The tank is custom built from 316ℓ stainless or polyethylene plastic to suit the available space on the vehicle. The unit has a small built-in electric pump to dispense cold water after passing through an inline filter at a suitable location inside and/or outside the vehicle.
